Holiday Festivities in OmroKeep December 1st open on your calendar as the fun begins early in the morning with Breakfast with Santa at the Omro Area Community Center from 8:00 to 11:00 AM.
The Holiday Gift Basket Raffle will be in full view at Tanner's Tap and Grill during the Chili Cook-Off. We are seeking businesses who want to participate in the annual Christmas Basket raffle. We need either cash donations or wrapped gift baskets promoting your business with an approximate value of $40 or more. The baskets will be on display from noon to 4:00 PM. They will then be moved to Citizens Bank to be displayed until the evening of December 13th when they will be taken to the Chamber of Commerce annual meeting at Wedgewood . Raffle tickets will be sold at all locations where the baskets will be in residence and also at the Community Center. The proceeds from the raffle will go to help support the community events. The Chili Cook-Off will be held from 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm at the Tanner's Tap and Grill. Judging for the best chili award will take place at 3:00 pm and will open to the public at 3:15 pm. If you would like to enter your best chili recipe, please fill out the entry form. Then be prepared to wow the judges with your culinary skills! Finally, the Holiday Parade will begin at 5:00 pm with the theme: Home for the Holidays. If you want to enter a float in the parade, please register by submitting the holdiay parade entry form found by clicking the ornament picture below.
